About the Role:

Key Skills Required for the Industry and Vocational Training Officer Role:

  • Training & Assessment: Ability to deliver and assess vocational ‘support packages' for students at risk of not achieving QCE. Holding TAE qualification or willingness to attain.
  • Industry & Community Engagement: Strong skills in building and maintaining partnerships with industry, employers, RTOs, and support agencies.
  • Event Coordination: Experience in organising large-scale events such as Careers Expos, Industry Connection events and information sessions.
  • Student Support & Monitoring: Capability to track student progress in VET, SATs, and work experience, including regular visits and data management.
  • Administrative & Compliance Management: Proficient in managing documentation, MOUs, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and departmental policies.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Effective interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with staff, students, families, and external stakeholders.
