About the Role

As the Identity and Access Management Officer, you will play a vital role in maintaining and improving the department's IAM solutions, ensuring secure and efficient access to information and services for over 700,000 students and staff.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Using monitoring tools to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Resolving complex identity and access management issues within agreed timeframes.
  • Participating in the design and delivery of on-premise and cloud-based IAM solutions.
  • Collaborating with business areas and project teams to develop and maintain IAM solutions.
  • Contributing to the improvement of IAM processes and documentation.

About You

The following traits would be beneficial:

  • Intermediate experience with IAM processes, including lifecycle management and best practices.
  • Proficiency in Azure AD Connect and PowerShell scripting.
  • Experience in deploying IAM components from development to production environments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, particularly in investigating and resolving IAM issues.
  • Knowledge of ITIL practices, secure software testing techniques, and security principles.
