ICT Teacher Wanted for SEMH Secondary School in Croydon

Position: ICT Teacher (KS4 and KS5)

Location: Croydon

Salary: Based on Main Pay Scale (MPS)

Are you a dedicated and passionate ICT teacher with experience in an SEMH school setting? We are looking for an exceptional individual to join our team at a vibrant SEMH secondary school in Croydon. If you have the drive to make a real difference in the lives of young people with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess engaging ICT lessons tailored to SEMH students.
  • Develop and implement individualized learning plans to meet the unique needs of each student.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to enhance the educational experience for all students.
  • Monitor and report on student progress and development.

    • Requirements:

  • Proven experience teaching ICT in a SEMH school setting.
  • Proficiency with Edexcel/Pearson or City & Guilds curriculum.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for making a difference in the lives of young people with SEMH needs.
  • Relevant teaching qualifications and certifications.

    • Preferred:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is ideal; however, experience is essential and non-negotiable.
