We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Information Systems Advisor to join our team at Brisbane Catholic Education (BCE). This role involves user acceptance testing, documenting processes, facilitating training sessions, providing user support, and promoting technology adoption and digital literacy.

About the role:
  • Participate in user acceptance testing.
  • Document and update processes and training materials.
  • Facilitate training sessions and workshops for key stakeholders.
  • Maintain procedures to ensure proactive support for information systems.
  • Provide ongoing support and advice to users.
  • Support information system projects and implementation activities.
  • Contribute to product development and enhancement activities.
  • Promote technology adoption and digital literacy.

About you:

  • Qualification in either education, business, information technology, information systems or another relevant field, or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Has experience in optimizing business processes and procedures within the technology domain
  • Has great problem-solving skills, ability to systematically analyze inputs and identify and priorities potential solutions.
  • Experience in developing Training Materials and delivering workshops. 
  • Queensland Driver’s Licence and eligibility to work within Australia for the period of this appointment.

  • Hold or be eligible to hold a Positive Notice Blue card work working with children.
