Catholic Education Tasmania (CET) are seeking passionate and experienced candidates that can support the provision and delivery of ICT: Client Support services to our teams.

The ICT: Client Services Support Officer will support our schools and offices throughout Tasmania by setting up computers, both Windows and Mac based systems (MacOS and ChromeOS) along with iPad and Chromebook devices. Experience and knowledge of working with these systems and products would be an advantage.

CET are looking for a broad range of ICT Support Officer candidates to support our exciting ICT: Client Services team ranging in experience from Level 1 to Level 3.

As Client Services – Support Officer, you will:

  • Resolving ICT service requests and incidents on first contact.
  • Prioritising and escalating ICT service requests as required within agreed timeframes.
  • Contributing to the development, implementation, maintenance and review of systems, policies, procedures and practices necessary for the efficient and effective administrative operations of the team.
  • Developing and maintaining positive relationships with key stakeholders.

Some of the skills and experiences we are looking for are:

  • Certificate III in ICT or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Work experience providing a variety of ICT services and support to diverse users.
  • Able to resolve routine problems and diagnostic skills to resolve complex problems related to data, equipment or systems.
