Veritas Education is seeking a passionate and dedicated Humanities Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in the Kirklees area. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to inspire and engage students across KS3 and KS4 in subjects such as History, Geography, and Religious Studies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality lessons in Humanities subjects, following the national curriculum.
  • Plan, prepare, and assess work to ensure all students make progress.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning.
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies.
  • Contribute to departmental meetings and whole-school initiatives.
    • Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Strong subject knowledge across Humanities disciplines.
  • Experience teaching KS3 and KS4 students.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
