A high-performing mainstream secondary school in Brent is seeking an enthusiastic and driven History Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their successful Humanities department. The Role

As a History Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support students in KS3-KS4 History lessons
  • Work 1:1 or with small groups to help students engage with historical sources, extended writing and exam skills
  • Assist teachers with lesson preparation, resources, and classroom activities
  • Lead revision sessions and support pupils of mixed abilities
  • Gain valuable classroom management experience in a welcoming environment

  • Recent History graduates (or with a related Humanities or English degree)
  • Passionate about education, with strong communication and writing skills
  • Confident, proactive, and eager to learn
  • Aspiring teachers, academics, or education professionals

    • No prior school experience is required-full training and support will be provided.
