Position Information
Cumberland High School is a comprehensive high school, with a population of approximately 1200 students, located in Carlingford. The school has a diverse cultural population including 73.9% non-English speaking background and 57 different languages. General Selection Criteria
Specific Selection Criteria
· Experience leading curriculum monitoring and assessment practices, to build capacity of staff, to ensure high-quality teaching and learning outcomes for all students.
· Demonstrated knowledge and ability to lead teachers in developing and implementing high quality teaching and learning to meet the needs of students across the full range of abilities.
· Strong interpersonal, organisational and management skills to effectively coordinate and lead staff across multiple courses whilst maintaining collaborative professional relationships.
· Ability to be an effective, collegial and collaborative member of the school’s Executive team to support School Excellence Plan priorities.
Conditions
An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
