Position Information
Irrawang High School, located on Worimi land in East Raymond Terrace, proudly serves a diverse student body of up to 750 learners from Years 7 to 12, including approximately 25% Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander students. Specific Selection Criteria
Demonstrated vision and strong capacity to lead teachers in the design and implementation of innovative, engaging, and differentiated teaching, learning, and vocational education programs that cater to diverse student needs.
Proven ability to lead the management of dynamic, safe, and inclusive practical learning environments that actively promote student engagement and support equitable learning outcomes.
Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to work collaboratively as an effective member of the school executive team.
Strong capacity to build and nurture positive relationships with staff, students, parents, and the wider community, fostering a supportive and inclusive educational environment at Irrawang High.
Conditions
An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
