Position Information
Kooringal High School has an enrolment of approximately 890 students including 10% Aboriginal students. Kooringal High School is located in Wagga Wagga. The school is partially selective with up to 150 students who have gained enrolment through the Selective High School Placement processes.
The school supports a wide range of curriculum offerings for students including a trade training centre and a purpose-built performing arts venue. Students are supported by a committed staff. The school has strong community ties and is supported by a proactive and engaged Parents and Citizens Association.

General Selection Criteria
Specific Selection Criteria
- The capacity to design and deliver innovative, differentiated, and inclusive programs for a diverse range of students, including EAL/D and First Nation students.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a collaborative faculty team, with highly developed verbal and written communication skills, to effectively engage with students, staff, parents, and the wider community
- Evidence of leading faculty strategic planning to improve student outcomes, including managing resources, budgeting, and implementing school and department policies.
Conditions
An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
