Position Information
Auburn Girls High School is a Year 7 to Year 12 high school with an academically selective cohort, an additional high potential and gifted class, and mainstream classes in each cohort. The school also has a support unit, and an active learning and support team. There is a strong focus on quality teaching, effective support for learning and wellbeing, and dynamic, creative, and positive learning environments. The school has an enrolment of approximately 860 students, 98% of whom have a language background other than English.

Demonstrated ability to lead the design and implementation of high quality, differentiated educational programs that meet the diverse learning needs of students from varied backgrounds and promote engagement and a culture of high expectations.
Proven capacity to lead, inspire and develop a faculty culture that values high expectations, professional growth and collaborative practice with clear accountability and evidence-based impact on student learning and engagement.
Demonstrated capacity to contribute effectively as a member of the school's executive leadership team, providing strategic leadership that drives whole-school improvement and fosters a positive, inclusive culture aligned with the school's vision and strategic directions.
Conditions
An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
