Position Information
Ingleburn High School is a co-educational comprehensive high school in South Western Sydney which services the needs and aspirations of a diverse and growing multi-cultural urban population. The school enrolment is currently at 817, including 71 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students and 45% of the school population being from a Non-English speaking background. The school has a support unit of seven classes.
The school is committed to continually improving effective classroom practices with staff professional learning being the key to ensuring this. This learning will ensure that both literacy and numeracy levels can be enhanced through improved data analysis and use to support student learning.

General Selection Criteria
Specific Selection Criteria
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with the executive team to lead, manage and implement initiatives that address whole school strategic directions and improve learning and engagement for all students.
- Evidence of highly developed interpersonal, communication and leadership skills with demonstrated ability to build the capacity of the Mathematics faculty to embed a culture of high expectations and continuous improvement, and nurture positive, quality relationships across the wider school community.
- Demonstrated experience inleading high quality teaching and learning programs and opportunities for a diverse range of learners including High Potential and Gifted Students.
- Demonstrated capacity to lead the Mathematics faculty to plan, implement and differentiate curriculum, assessment and learning programs and practices.
Conditions
An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
