Position Information
Gosford High School is a selective high school catering to the needs of highly academic students. The current enrolment is 1071 students from Year 7 to Year 12. Gosford High School strives to ensure excellence through diversity and opportunity. General Selection Criteria
Specific Selection Criteria
In addition to the approval to teach Mathematics Years 7-12. Demonstrated knowledge and/ or experience in the teaching of Extension 1 and 2 Mathematics curriculum. Proven experience in managing the compliance requirements of curriculum, wellbeing and assessment processes reflected within NESA and DoE policy. |
Demonstrated knowledge of the high potential and gifted educational policy and the implementation of programs that cater to the diverse needs of all students. |
Highly developed organisational, communication and interpersonal skills to support whole school systems evaluation and achievement of school strategic improvement plan targets. |
Conditions
An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
