About this job
Position Information
Moorefield Girls High School is a comprehensive 7-12 school for girls located in Kogarah NSW with a current population of 385 students, including 4 support classes. We are a culturally cohesive and inclusive school servicing a diverse multicultural community. Over 80% of our girls have a non-English speaking background with a large proportion accessing English as an Additional Language/Dialect (EAL/D) support. Our strong commitment to supporting the achievements of all our students is underpinned by quality teaching and developing partnerships in learning with parents and carers. Literacy and numeracy are focus areas across the school. This position currently supervises CAPA in addition to TAS.
In 2026, Moorefield Girls High School will merge with the neighboring school, James Cook Boys Technology High School, to form a new co-educational school, a significant change that presents exciting opportunities for growth and development. This transition will allow us to build on the strengths of both schools and create an inclusive, collaborative, and dynamic learning environment for both girls and boys.
