Murrumbidgee Regional High School - Griffith, is a secondary school situated in Griffith, with an enrolment of 590 students. The enrolment profile includes 107 students with an Aboriginal Heritage, 143 with a Pasifika background, and a significant number of students from EAL/D backgrounds. 

Murrumbidgee Regional High School – Griffith, includes a support unit with 3 classes, the Riverina Suspension Centre - Griffith, and a Clontarf Academy to support the educational provision for Aboriginal boys and an Aboriginal Learning and Engagement Centre that fosters improved learning outcomes. Students at the school benefit from the multi-award winning Murrumbidgee Academy of STEM Excellence (MASE) Academy that provides education to students in partner primary schools and secondary schools right across NSW. The school shares linkages with Murrumbidgee High School – Wade and both schools are supported by a Senior Cross School Coordinator to ensure the provision of the legacy benefits arising from the previous merge. The school seeks to continue to build on the growing academic performance of students, supporting them through strong academic, cultural, sporting and vocational pathways.

General Selection Criteria
1. Successful teaching experience with capacity to initiate improvement in teaching, learning and classroom practice
2. Knowledge of curriculum, assessment and student welfare with the ability to lead and design quality, inclusive teaching and learning programs
3. Educational leadership skills to build the capacity and manage the performance of individuals and teams
4. Well developed communication and interpersonal skills with the capacity to build relationships and engage students, staff and parents
5. Ability to plan and manage resources effectively and equitably to support teaching and learning
6. Knowledge of and commitment to the Department's Aboriginal education policy
Specific Selection Criteria
Applicants must satisfy the teacher training and academic qualification requirements for this position. In addition to the general selection criteria, 
1. Demonstrated understanding of, and ability to effectively lead, the implementation of the new English curriculum.
2. Demonstrated capacity to lead staff in exemplary evidence-based pedagogy to foster student engagement and promote quality learning experiences.
3. Demonstrated capacity to work collaboratively and creatively as a member of the Executive team to sustain the school’s strategic vision and whole school priorities.
4. Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills with the capacity to build relationships and engage students, staff and parents
