Position Information
Rose Bay Secondary College, Years 7 -12, is a partially selective, coeducational high school in the eastern suburbs of Sydney, with a student population of approximately 1140 students in 2025. The school has a focus on high academic achievement and quality teaching in a rich learning environment. The College has an enviable reputation for the breadth of its subject offerings and excellence in the HSC.
Inclusion, advocacy and opportunity are key values of the College. The school has a support unit, the Inclusive Education Faculty (IEF), for students with special educational needs. The College works closely with our nine partner primary schools and enjoys active and supportive parent involvement including the coordination of significant programs in music (MEP), sports, chess and debating. An extensive co-curricular program caters for diverse student interests including sport, dance, drama, debating, Duke of Edinburgh, music, film, chess club and student leadership.

Capacity to provide strong, imaginative educational leadership in fostering an arts culture is demonstrated through the collaborative implementation of whole-school performances, exhibitions, programs, and curriculum events.

Demonstrated curriculum expertise in building staff capacity to deliver outstanding outcomes for all students in the creative and performing arts.

Proven ability to participate effectively in collaborative leadership for whole-school improvement, addressing school and faculty priorities while aligning with the College’s strategic vision.
Conditions
An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
