About this job

About the School:

With growth comes opportunity. Advance your career!

  • Hume Anglican Grammar is a multi-campus co-educational Anglican Diocesan School offering education from Prep to Year 12 in the Northern growth corridor of Melbourne.
  • Hume has an open enrolment policy, educating children from many faiths and with a diverse range of backgrounds and abilities.
  • The School aspires to develop young people who are kind, creative, curious, socially and emotionally at ease, and who strive to achieve their personal best in all their endeavours.
  • Currently, the school has 2,670 students and employs 288 staff – 193 teaching and 95 non-teaching. The student enrolment at each campus is: Mt Ridley 1,418; Donnybrook 860; and Kalkallo 392.
  • As one of Victoria’s fastest growing schools, next year Hume is projected to increase to 2,912 students (Mt Ridley 1,428; Donnybrook 1,008; and Kalkallo 476).
  • When at capacity, and as one of the largest non-government schools in the State, Hume will have some 3,612 students (Mt Ridley 1,428; Donnybrook 1,596; and Kalkallo 588) with a corresponding cohort of teaching and general staff on its existing three campuses with plans for further expansion.

Hume provides its students with an education that prepares them for the challenges of life, equips them to contribute to the community in an environment based on Christian values and at a cost affordable to as many families as possible. By establishing high standards in all that we do, every student is encouraged and supported to discover and fulfil their unique potential.

It is not by chance that we have young people who readily display care, warmth, humour and respect for one another and their teachers.
