About Collingwood Park State Secondary College

Collingwood Park State Secondary College is a new state high school that is being constructed for the growing area of Collingwood Park (near Redbank Plains) and will open for Year 7 and Year 8 students for Term 1, 2025.

Stage 1 of the new school will include an administration building; art and design; general learning centre; science, industrial technology and design resource centre; food services; hospitality; amenities; oval; car parking and operational services.

Collingwood Park's new high school will increase the local schooling network and provide enrolment relief to Bellbird Park State Secondary College and Redbank Plains State High School.

About the Role

As the Head of Special Education Services - Learner Capability you will:

  • Promote an inclusive culture and practices within the school community to ensure equity and excellence for students with disability.
  • Develop and support a high quality of teaching and adjustments for students with disability in accordance to related legislation and policies.
  • Embrace a forward thinking and strategic approach to inclusive education
  • Establish and foster partnerships with parents and key stakeholders to support educational outcomes for students
  • As a new school you will be responsible for the ongoing development of inclusive practices / policies across the whole school.
  • The HOSES role will work closely alongside the DP Inclusion to establish and support inclusive practices across the school.
