The Head of Senior School oversees teaching and learning, pastoral care and culture of the Senior School to advance the School’s mission, strategic priorities and whole-school coherence.
Reporting to the Deputy and Headmaster, serving as a member of the School Executive, the Head of Senior School leads a committed team of faculty and pastoral leaders to ensure high expectations, clarity of purpose and consistency of practice. The role is central to embedding the School’s Teaching and Learning and Cultural Frameworks, strengthening staff capability, and nurturing a Senior School culture where excellence, wellbeing and Christian character are authentically lived. This is a rare opportunity to shape the experience of students within a connected context, balancing care with challenge and tradition with innovation.
The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to:
- Provide visible, relational and values-led leadership aligned to Christian faith
- Engage relationally and confidently with the school and local community
- Lead and scale operations with clarity, coherence and evidence-informed practice
- Define, develop, mentor and uphold standards of excellence in the classroom
- Shape strong pastoral structures that support cultural wellbeing and growth
Offered as a full-time CMEA Level 3 ongoing executive position, and commencing by start of Term 3, 2026, applicants must have the right to work in Australia and hold, or be eligible for, NSW teacher accreditation and relevant child protection clearances.
