The Head of Secondary School holds a prominent place within the Executive Leadership team, with strategic accountability to the Principal and operational oversight from the Deputy Principal. This dual reporting structure underscores the importance of the role in maintaining a harmonious balance between visionary educational leadership and the efficient day-to-day functioning of the Secondary School. This position plays a pivotal role in guiding and nurturing the academic and personal growth of both staff and students.   • Proven senior leadership experience and expertise in leading the day-to-day operations of a secondary school
  • Innovative and analytical leadership with extensive knowledge of curriculum, QCAA syllabus, current digital resources, and contemporary secondary education practice
  • Well-developed strategic leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to convert strategy to action, successfully drive change, influence others, and achieve expected outcomes
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with staff, parents, students and the broader school community
  • Demonstrated excellence in leading and motivating people and fostering a culture of improvement
  • Commitment to the College’s mission and vision and a passion for providing the highest quality environment, programs and services to enable young people to thrive
