About the Role

This role will be responsible for developing, implementing and embedding a culture of lifelong learning, growth and leadership across the student and staff body, to ensure Ferny Grove State High School continues to deliver upon its vision, every individual discovering their passion on their pathway of learning, and its purpose; to create an inclusive and respectful environment that fosters resilient, knowledgeable and globally-connected individuals.

This portfolio will be responsible for working with staff and students to identify what makes our school unique, translating this into a culture of high performance and subsequently, creating structures, processes and mechanisms to support ongoing professional development and growth, and lifelong learning.

This role will be forward-thinking and future-focused with the aim of ensuring staff retention, development and talent acquisition. It will have a deliberate and explicit focus on “people” development, as learners and leaders.
