About Kingston State College

Kingston State College consists of a 7-12 High School with 800 students and the Kingston Learning College with 230 students completing 1-3 subjects from years 10-12.

We provide a variety of learning opportunities to suit individual needs. Both our campuses accept enrolments from all areas as there is no management plan in place for the College.

About the Role

As the VET Head of Department, you will lead and manage all VET operations, ensuring compliance with ASQA, QCAA, and other regulatory bodies. Your role includes overseeing the development of training and assessment strategies, maintaining quality assurance processes, and driving continuous improvement. You'll work closely with industry partners to ensure relevant and up-to-date programs.

As the Head of Department, you will:

  • Lead curriculum focus in line with school and departmental initiatives
  • Participate in delivering the vision of Early Childhood and State Schools Division
  • Develop the quality of teaching and learning
  • Nurture positive relationships between students, teachers and stakeholders.
