North Lakes State College opened its doors in 2002 and enables students to commence in Prep and continue through to Year 12 across our two campuses.
As a unique educational College, we offer many different areas of expertise including an industry standard commercial kitchen for hospitality studies, state of the art VI experience, as well as sharing our exceptional sporting facilities with the public.

About the Role:
In addition to whole-school responsibilities, the successful applicant will lead curriculum development, assessment moderation and faculty improvement processes within The Arts, ensuring programs are aligned with departmental expectations and responsive to the diverse needs of learners. This role is central to promoting creativity, performance opportunities and authentic learning experiences that enrich the cultural life of the College.

- The capacity to strategically lead curriculum planning, assessment and moderation processes.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Leading the development, implementation and review of high-quality teaching and learning programs within The Arts faculty.
- Supporting and coaching teachers to implement evidence-based pedagogical practices that improve student engagement and achievement.
- Leading curriculum planning, assessment and moderation processes aligned to departmental and QCAA requirements.
- Building a positive and collaborative faculty culture focused on continuous improvement and professional growth.
- Monitoring student achievement data and implementing strategies to improve learning outcomes.
- Coordinating performances, showcases and enrichment opportunities that promote student participation and celebrate excellence in The Arts.
- Assisting the Senior Leadership Team to develop and enact the College's strategic vision and improvement agenda.
- Embedding inclusive and socially just practices within faculty operations and classroom practice.
