As the Head of Department (Teaching and Learning), you will lead a team to design and deliver innovative and responsive curricular and co-curricular programs across all year levels.
This role is about developing teacher capability and confidence across pedagogical practice and curriculum delivery. You will contribute to the broader strategic agenda of the school as a member of Calliope's Leadership Team.

Responsibilities include:
- Lead the school department to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focussed on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.
- Embed socially just practices in daily school life.
- Set high standards for student and staff performance.
- Actively participate in lifelong learning and ongoing professional development.
- Form partnerships with students, parents, other government agencies, and community groups.
