Your Role
We are seeking a candidate to build strong relationships with students and parents as part of a unified collective.
The Head of Department - Student Services will work as a member of the Student Services team to support students' wellbeing and behaviour, communicate responsively to parents and work with teachers to support the implementation of restorative practices.
As the Head of Department - Student Services you will:
- Assist the Year Level Deputy in implementing the Student Code of Conduct by overseeing short-term suspensions, monitoring behaviour support plans, facilitating peer mediations, and providing case management support.
- Lead and promote a strong year-level culture by maintaining open communication with parents and coordinating key events such as leadership days, camps, assemblies, and social activities.
- Champion the school's PERMAH framework to enhance student wellbeing and foster positive peer relationships through the implementation of restorative practices.
