About Charleville State School
Charleville State School is a 'uniform school'. All students are required to wear the full school uniform each day. It engenders school spirit and gives individual feeling of identity and belonging in our school community.
Our school believes that if positive parent/teacher partnerships are formed, the education progress of our students is greatly enhanced. The school holds open days or nights early in the year and parent/teacher conferences at various times throughout the year.
About the Role
Key responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:
- Implementation of innovative measures to improve student engagement and learning outcomes.
- Monitor student performance and behaviour and develop and implement intervention strategies for support.
- Work with parents, school staff and outside agencies to support improved learning and achievement.
- Embed socially just practices for whole school implementation and improved attendance and engagement at school.
Mandatory and preferred skills and experiences:
- Current full registration as a teacher in Queensland.
- Previous experience working with diverse and challenging students in a support capacity would be an advantage.
