We have a number of signature programs that have been developed over time that makes us a choice of schooling in Ipswich and the surrounding areas. Designated DoE Programs of Excellence allow enrolments from outside of catchment (STEM, Dance, Rugby League, Hair and Beauty and Trade).
The school is an accredited International Student Program School and regularly hosts both long-term student exchanges and short-term study tours.; 30% of the students identifying as being either Aboriginal or Torres Strait, or Maori or Pacific Islander background, with more than 10% being born overseas. There is an increasing number of refugee enrolments that are provided with tailored EALD support. - Case Management (Academic, Cultural, Disability & Access Needs)
- Build staff capability through the delivery of professional learning
- Line Management of the inclusion team
- Partner with Curriculum HODs to ensure curriculum alignment for adjusted programs.
- Collaborate with Guidance Officers to support high-complexity cases (academic and identity-based adjustments).
- Work with Year Level teams on attendance, engagement and behaviour in an inclusion framework
