About the Role

This position has portfolio responsibility for Year 9 and has the following key duties:

  • Behaviour support of students in year level
  • Complex case management of year level students
  • Provision of timetabled programs and other proactive behaviour support and engagement strategies
  • Liaising with support personnel inside and outside of the school to increase the scope of intervention for year level students
  • Liaising with parents and carers of year level students regarding welfare, well-being, behaviour, engagement and support issues
  • Supporting year level teachers to increase the scope of pedagogical and behavioural strategies used to increase student engagement, through formal professional development, classroom visits and informal support
  • Monitor and review attendance data of year level students and provide relevant intervention.
  • Development, analysis and distribution of cohort datasets relating to student behaviour and engagement
