About the Role
This position has portfolio responsibility for Year 9 and has the following key duties:
- Behaviour support of students in year level
- Complex case management of year level students
- Provision of timetabled programs and other proactive behaviour support and engagement strategies
- Liaising with support personnel inside and outside of the school to increase the scope of intervention for year level students
- Liaising with parents and carers of year level students regarding welfare, well-being, behaviour, engagement and support issues
- Supporting year level teachers to increase the scope of pedagogical and behavioural strategies used to increase student engagement, through formal professional development, classroom visits and informal support
- Monitor and review attendance data of year level students and provide relevant intervention.
- Development, analysis and distribution of cohort datasets relating to student behaviour and engagement
