About the Role:
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Provide strategic leadership by developing and championing a shared educational vision that promotes excellence, equity, and high-quality learning outcomes for all students within the school department.
- Foster a culture of high expectations and inclusion by embedding socially just practices, supporting student wellbeing, and promoting excellence in staff and student performance.
- Lead professional growth and collaboration by engaging in lifelong learning, supporting staff development, and building productive partnerships with students, families, government agencies, and the wider community.
- Ensure effective governance and compliance by applying relevant legislation, policies, and departmental requirements to support high-quality educational practices and positive outcomes for students and staff.
- Manage departmental operations and resources by strategically planning and overseeing human, financial, curriculum, and physical resources to achieve departmental priorities and continuous improvement goals.
