Step Into Your Next Chapter:

As the Head of Department (HPE/Sport and Marine & Aquatic Practices), you will lead and manage the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning programs in Health and Physical Education (HPE), Sport, and Marine & Aquatic Practices.

You will work collaboratively with staff, students, and the school community to ensure the effective implementation of the Australian Curriculum and Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE) subjects, while fostering a culture of excellence, opportunity, inclusivity, and well-being. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead the school department to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focussed on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.
  • Embed socially just practices in daily school life.
  • Set high standards for student and staff performance.
  • Actively participate in lifelong learning and ongoing professional development.
