About the Role
Suitable applicants will demonstrate the following attributes:
- Lead the school's HPE Department and STAR Excellence programs to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focussed on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.
- Expert curriculum knowledge of Health and Physical Education learning areas within QCAA and ACARA curriculum.
- Ability to lead a dynamic team of teachers across faculties to implement, monitor and review excellence programs within the school.
- Manage the human, financial, facilities and curriculum resources of the HPE and STAR Departments to achieve AIP goals.
- Instructional leadership of curriculum and pedagogy
- Effective communication skills and a high level of relational capacity
