Roma State College which caters for Prep to Year 12. Our college, P-12, opened in 2006 and offers students a modern, learner driven experience which caters for all, from Phonics to physics, from STEM to Agriculture Studies and all subjects in between. Our college has a proud history, shining academically, socially and in a range of sporting pursuits.

Our College opened in 2006, offering a P-12 structure. This opportunity allows for our students to experience a seamless transition that helps support both academic and social outcomes. About the Role:

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Provide strategic leadership by developing and promoting a shared vision for the department that delivers high-quality teaching, learning, and improved outcomes for all students.
  • Foster a culture of excellence and inclusion by embedding equitable practices, maintaining high expectations for student achievement and staff performance, and supporting continuous professional growth.
  • Lead innovation and continuous improvement through future-focused planning, curriculum development, evidence-informed practice, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Build strong relationships and partnerships with students, families, colleagues, community organisations, and external agencies to enhance student learning and wellbeing.
  • Ensure effective governance and resource management by applying relevant legislation and policies, and strategically managing the department's human, financial, curriculum, and physical resources to achieve school priorities.
