Welcome to this great school!  Located in the industrial city of Gladstone in Central Queensland, Toolooa State High School is an inclusive, innovative and progressive secondary school catering for Year 7 to Year 12 with enrolments over 1000. About the Role

As the Head of Department - Mathematics, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited, to the following:

  • Lead a large faculty of varying skill ability.
  • Lead the delivery of a quality assured V9.0 rollout of the Australian Curriculum for Year 8 to Year 10.
  • Lead the delivery of a quality assured curriculum and assessment in senior mathematics.
  • Mentor and coach staff to improve pedagogy in your chosen curriculum area.
