About the Role

As the Head of Department - Mathematics, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited, to the following:

  • Lead the school community in developing and committing to a shared vision focused on quality learning outcomes for all students;
  • Set high standards for student and staff performance;
  • Lead the Mathematics Curriculum at SBSHS, including V9 and 2025 QCAA Senior Subjects;
  • Lead the QCAA Senior Mathematics processes;
  • Lead & manage pedagogy within faculty classes;
  • Lead the whole school numeracy plan;
  • Instructional Leadership - Implementation of AIP including whole school strategies and department initiatives.
