About Us:

Located centrally on Queensland's Sunshine Coast, Chancellor State College is a five-minute drive to Mooloolaba, and is a one-hour drive north of Brisbane. Chancellor State College has two campuses: primary and secondary. Each campus has a principal who is accountable for the achievement of outcomes for each student. This includes a strong focus on National Assessment Program for Literacy and Numeracy (NAPLAN), the curriculum, learning and teaching, assessment and reporting frameworks that are directly related to each student's stage of schooling.

About the Role:

Responsibilities include, but not limited to;

  • Provide strategic and future-focused leadership to develop and sustain a shared educational vision that delivers high-quality learning outcomes for all students.
  • Promote socially just, inclusive practices and set high expectations for student achievement and staff performance.
  • Lead and manage human, financial, facilities, and curriculum resources effectively to achieve departmental goals.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of relevant legislation and policies impacting students and staff, ensuring compliance and best practice.
  • Actively engage in lifelong learning and professional development while building productive partnerships with students, parents, community groups, and external agencies.
