About the Role
The successful candidate must have the demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with students and maintain high expectations for student behaviour and performance. In addition, the demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and lead the planning and implementation of welfare initiatives to support student attendance, engagement and performance is required.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- lead curriculum focus in line with school and departmental initiatives
- participate in delivering the vision of State Schools Division
- develop the quality of teaching and learning
- nurture positive relationships between students, teachers and stakeholders.
- lead the high expectations and accountability for student attendance, uniform, classroom behaviour, playground behaviour and supervision for management of programs and facilities.
- communicate and document student welfare needs between all appropriate school community members including, but not limited to executive team, senior leadership, guidance officers, youth support workers, indigenous support, special education, school nurse, year level coordinators, teachers and parents.
