About the Role:
Responsibilities include, but not limited to;
- Provide strategic leadership by guiding the department to develop and commit to a shared educational vision that focuses on high-quality learning outcomes for all students.
- Promote inclusive and socially just practices within everyday school life while building strong partnerships with students, parents, community groups and relevant agencies.
- Maintain high expectations for both student achievement and staff performance, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
- Engage in continuous professional growth through lifelong learning and ongoing professional development while remaining future-focused and strategic.
- Ensure effective governance and resource management by understanding relevant legislation and policies and managing human, financial, facilities and curriculum resources to achieve departmental goals.
