The successful applicant needs to be highly supportive and be prepared to work closely to develop the skills of their staff, gradually increasing their autonomy as they grow into the role. You will be the leader of a team of staff in a fast growing and vibrant area of South East Queensland, located approximately 45 minutes from Brisbane City and an hour from the Gold Coast.
You will be required to lead a generally inexperienced but very motivated team of staff to deliver quality curriculum to support excellent student engagement and outcomes.
Responsibilities include:
- Lead the school department to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focussed on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.
- Embed socially just practices in daily school life.
- Set high standards for student and staff performance.
- Actively participate in lifelong learning and ongoing professional development.
