About the Role

The suitable candidate for this position will be a highly capable instructional leader, as well as demonstrating strong organisational and management skills, be futures-orientated and innovative.
They will have strong knowledge and understanding of the English Australian Curriculum V9 as well as senior English subjects.

As a Head of Department - The English at Narangba Valley State High School you will have responsibility for leading the following activities and delivery of the following key tasks:

  • Strategically co-lead the English Faculty to
  • Develop the quality of teaching and learning
  • Build expert teaching teams
  • Lead staff through cycles of systematic curriculum delivery
  • Set high standards for student and staff performance.
  • Actively participate in lifelong learning and ongoing professional development.
