About Moranbah East State School

Moranbah East State School is one of two Primary Schools located in the Central Qld Region, 200km West from Mackay Qld.

We provide educational services for students from Prep to Year 6. We are extremely proud of our students, our staff and collectively - our team.

About the Role

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead the relevant curriculum areas or whole school program to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focussed on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.
  • Embed socially just practices in daily school life.
  • Set high standards for student and staff performance.
  • Actively participate in lifelong learning and ongoing professional development.

About You

  • Highly relational in working with staff
  • Demonstrated expertise in V9 Curriculum implementation
  • Understands how to use behaviour management strategies and coach others
