Who We Are:

Our school is located near the beautiful Whyanbeel Valley, on the land of the Eastern Kuku Yalanji people in Far North Queensland.

We are nestled between canefields and the rainforest-bordered Miallo Creek.

We are a family-orientated school with a proud history of more than a century of teaching and learning where traditions are valued, and innovation is embraced.

We are very fortunate to have a strong family feel and supportive community: we value strong relationships and families have a strong presence in our school, through volunteering, attending events and as members of our P&C Association.

Step Into Your Next Chapter:

Strong relational skills, adaptability and a commitment to context-responsive practice will be essential in strengthening consistency and excellence across the cluster.

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead the relevant curriculum areas or whole school program to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focussed on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.
  • Embed socially just practices in daily school life.
  • Set high standards for student and staff performance.
