About this job

About Griffin State School

Griffin State School opened in 2016 with 260 students. Our school vision is 'Anchored in Excellence' and throughout the intensive establishment phase in the latter half of 2015, foundation Principal Mrs Vicki Baker worked closely with the community to bring this vision to fruition and create a school that would be the pride of the emerging suburb of Griffin.

I have joined the Griffin community as the second Principal of Griffin State School in 2024 and consider myself extremely lucky to be given the opportunity to lead such a connected, caring community.

Students at Griffin are privileged to be educated in a modern facility ensuring they have what they need to be successful 21st Century learners. Our staff are our greatest asset and as a team we've set high expectations for ourselves as educators and we work with conviction to achieve them. Staff focus relentlessly on achieving the very best for every student through the adoption of personalised, innovative and proven teaching strategies.
