About the Role

An exciting opportunity exists for a strong middle leader to support a range of schools in the Canecutter Cluster. Located in the heart of Innisfail, you will be responsible for leading curriculum development to one large school and five small schools. Supporting Goondi State School three days a week you will be supporting curriculum development and enhancing the quality of teaching and learning. Your remaining two days will be shared amongst the smalls schools who are working collaboratively to develop a combined approach to the delivery of curriculum in their multi age settings.
Opportunities will be provided to collaborate on projects across all of the schools including planning, curriculum development, moderation and assessment.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead the relevant curriculum areas or whole school program to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focussed on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.
  • Embed socially just practices in daily school life.
  • Set high standards for student and staff performance.
  • Actively participate in lifelong learning and ongoing professional development.
