Our School
Cunnamulla P-12 State School, as a rural and remote campus in southwest Queensland, invites passionate educators to join our dedicated team in delivering meaningful, culturally responsive education to our students.
Our school has the unique opportunity to influence the educational journey of a student from Prep through to Year 12. In Kunja language, Cunnamulla means ‘long stretch of water' or ‘big waterhole'. Located on the Warrego River, surrounded by the rich natural lands of the Kunja people, we offer contextualised learning experiences to our students.
Our focus is to create a nurturing school culture and build strong caring relationships with students, families, staff and the wider community while prioritising that every child is known, valued and celebrated. Our priority areas include engagement, reading, and successful transitions. Our values—respectful, responsible, learning and safe—guide a strong commitment to improving student outcomes and prepare every student for their future with meaningful pathways.
