About the Role

As the Head of Department (Curriculum), you will lead and inspire the school community to achieve excellence in teaching and learning. You will play a key role in implementing the Australian Curriculum V9 and driving the school's strategic priorities for 2026, including the Coomera Springs State School Structured Literacy Approach and fostering inclusive, engaging learning environments.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading curriculum development in alignment with school and departmental initiatives.
  • Developing and enhancing the quality of teaching and learning practices.
  • Fostering positive relationships with students, staff, parents, and the wider community.
  • Managing resources to achieve educational goals effectively.
  • Setting high standards for student and staff performance while promoting lifelong learning.
