Our Lady of the Assumption school is seeking an individual with a genuine passion for their work to deliver a range of services for the upkeep, maintenance and development of our school grounds.
Duties include:
- Minor landscaping work
- Maintaining clean and tidy school grounds
- Routine maintenance and repairs
- Providing feedback into planning, preparing and development of school grounds
- Liaising with onsite contractors
- Inventory management for grounds supplies and materials
- Liaise with various internal and external personnel on issues of lost property and damage to facilities
- Assist with setting up significant school events
- Compliance with workplace health and safety requirements
- Previous experience in a groundskeeping role would be preferable. You will also have a good work ethic and seek to achieve quality work whilst maintaining the highest level of safety.
To be eligible to be considered for this role you will:
- hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement;
- be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment; and
- have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education.
