We are looking for an enthusiastic grounds person to join our wonderful School Community to deliver a range of services for the upkeep, maintenance and development of our school grounds and facilities.
Duties for this position include:
- Minor landscaping work
- Maintaining clean and tidy school grounds;
- Routine trade and non-trade maintenance and repairs;
- Providing feedback into planning, preparing and development of school grounds;
- Liaising with onsite contractors;
- Inventory management for grounds supplies and materials;
- Liaise with various internal and external personnel on issues of lost property and damage to facilities;
- Assist with setting up significant school events;
- Compliance with workplace health and safety requirements.
To be eligible to be considered for this role you will:
- hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement;
- be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment; and
- have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education.
