Veritas Education work with a variety of primary, secondary, and SEN schools across London and the surrounding areas, providing high-quality teachers and support staff for long-term, short-term, permanent, and daily supply roles. We partner with state, private, and independent schools, building strong, trusted relationships with our clients.

We are currently looking for Graduate Teaching Assistants for secondary schools in based in Central London. Roles are Monday-Friday from 8.30am to 4pm, and are term time only, and are to begin as soon as possible or January 2025.

Responsibilities for Graduate Learning Support Assistants include:

  • Supporting students on a 1:1 basis including those with special educational needs and learning difficulties.
  • working proactively to help students achieve their attainment levels.
  • encouraging students to engage proactively with their learning.
  • helping to provide a safe environment for children to learn.
  • assisting the teacher with students general learning and development.

    • You will be:

  • Proactive and a strong communicator, able to build a rapport with young peop
  • Experienced in working with children and young people, ideally in an educational setting.
  • Reliable and committed to the school and students' improvement.
  • Enthusiastic and engaging.
  • Able to work alongside the teacher and independently.
  • Patient and empathetic.
  • Knowledgeable in special needs and learning difficulties.
