Learning Support Assistant

Location: Camden, North West LondonPosition: Full-Time, Learning Support AssistantHours: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:00 PMSalary: £1,800 - £2,000 per month

An Ofsted rated 'Outstanding', voluntary-aided primary school in Camden are looking to hire a recent Social Work graduate who is interested in working alongside vulnerable children and those with Special Educational Needs (SEN). You would be working on both a 1-1 basis and general classroom basis with children aged between 3-5 years old. You will be an integral part of the school community ensuring the social and emotional well-being of these children is prioritised.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one support to children with special educational needs.
  • Foster a nurturing and inclusive environment that encourages learning and development.
  • Collaborate with teachers and support staff to create tailored educational plans.
  • Monitor and assess the progress of children, ensuring their individual needs are met.
  • Engage with families and professionals to promote a holistic approach to support.
