Graduate Teaching Assistants

Location: Wakefield Pay: £90-£105 per day Contract: Full-time, 8:30am-3:30pm | Temporary to Permanent

Are you a recent graduate eager to begin your journey into teaching? Looking for meaningful, hands-on experience in a warm and supportive primary school? This opportunity could be exactly what you're searching for.

We are partnering with a number of excellent primary schools across Wakefield, all recognised for their inclusive ethos, strong leadership, and engaging learning environments.

The Role

  • Provide support to pupils across various year groups, including children with SEN in mainstream classrooms
  • Work closely with experienced teachers to deliver high-quality learning
  • Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
  • Access clear pathways for progression, including routes into teacher training

    • What We're Looking For

  • A degree in any subject
  • A genuine passion for working with children and an interest in pursuing a career in education
  • A proactive, enthusiastic, and caring approach
  • Experience working with children is beneficial but not essential
